B swap in 95 Del sol questions
I figured I would start a thread on my build and questions about it. Yes I have done my searching.
First off is on axles. I have bee trying to find clarification with no luck. I got my swap from a 91 hatch. it had the hubs swapped from the donor Integra to accept the axles.
Will the axles fit into my 95 del sol?
Also it currently has a cable tranny which I am selling to get a hydro tranny, will the intermediate shaft switch over if all the axles work too?

Re: B swap in 95 Del sol questions
91 hatch does not come with b-series in the u.s. so you will need to make some assumptions.
the axles in the hatch were probably purchased for da integra which are just a little shorter in length than a dc integra but the end will connect no problem. both 32mm
del sol is mostly the same as eg hatch with regard to the swap except for the shift linkage.
make sure you get linkage for 95-97 dohc del sol. integra linkage will not work.

with a hydro tranny, you need any 94-01 integra midshaft and axles EXCPET type R.
And you need shift linkage from any Del-sol that came with a B16a3.

I have the del sol b linnkage. the axles were from the 92 integra the b18 came from. the guy swapped the hubs from the integra to the 91 civic so the axles would fit

You can use the '90 - '93 axles just fine. You just need to use the matching intermediate shaft and driver's side axle seal. The passenger's side axle is actually the same as a '94 - '01/'99 - '00/'94 - '97 Del Sol axle.

Re: B swap in 95 Del sol questions
ok so installing the b18 and came up with an issue. the engine side bracket is a 2 bolt and the mount from the car is a 3 bolt. I have a 2 bolt from a crx but the mount is not wide enough for the cup on the car. I have used it with washers just to get motor installed, but I need to know what mount I need to get without having to change the engine side bracket to a 3 bolt.

They had a B16 as an option for the del Sol in '95. Why not check the parts websites for everything you need? There is no point in trying to find out what will work or modifying axles or anything else for that matter.

Re: B swap in 95 Del sol questions
I know they did, had to find the shift linkage. got one cheap. I wasn't trying to piece it all together. I was trying to find out what all from the swap I got would work. I ended up buying the 3 bolt engine bracket. lined right up.
Now just waiting on my harness to come in. make sure all works fine before I install the turbo
