B-Series Swap In A 98 Civic Ex Using An OBD-2 To OBD-1 Conversion Harness Now Tach Is Acting Weird
My tach is not working then when i rev the motor just a little it jumps all the way up past redline and goes back to zero. Ive tried searching but it not working right now. I know my conversion harness is good because it came out of a friends car. And my gauge cluster is good cause i tried it in my other car.
Im using a OBD-1 P30 ecu. Is there a wire i can run from the ecu directly to the blue distributor wire? Or what should i check.

check your grounds, the one on the thermostat, the motor and the negative battery cable make sure they are all tight and getting cable to body contact
