B-series Swap*Transponder Bypass Module*
Hello H-Tech-er's
I'm doing an OBD2 B18b1 swap into my 00 Civic CX and read that the 00 Acura ECU has a imobilizer feature that requires the factory key to start.
I saw conflicting info on what years have this. On one website it did not list the 00 Integra as having one and the other one it did. Can someone shed some light on this?
I was wondering how easy this mod is and if anyone used this??

'00 - '01 USDM Integra ECUs have an immobilizer, you can just remove it and the ECU will start the car, but you will have a constant CEL, you can also remove it and install a dummy chip to remove the CEL. Or use an older ECU with a conversion harness.

Two more question's if you don't mind.
#1
What Other ECU's would work good?
(I have an OBD2 to 1 conversion harness already)
#2
Do you need the original car key to install and program the bypass module?
Thanks for the help

Get the p74 obd1 ecu. Get a obd2-obd1 jumper harness from Rywire. there are other companies that make these types of harnesses but im drawing a blank.
If you arent familiar with what im talking about, this is the harness and how it works.
Link To Harness
One side has female connectors that recieve the plugs that go into the ECU, the other side has male connectors that will go into the ECU. Its very simple, obviously.

Thats fine to get it goin with no cell, but I plan to bar this thing and live in cali so I want to get the dummy chip. No need to waste money on something I wont need later. Anyone else have the answer to my question?
