I would use axles from whoever made the mount kit as engine placement has an effect on axle length.

I'm sure there was no BS given, as you obviously had the axle issue handled by the same place that originally made the axles in the first place. Were you asked to measure the compressed length of the axle, or check the amount the axle moved with the spindle nut off and the car on the ground with the wheel on? That is the best way to check the axle length to determine if it is correct for the ride height your car is at..

oh yes there was BS given to me!!!! my car is 1/2 lower than stock and yes i was asked to measure it out and thats why i got a inch longer axle from the people that makes hasports axles. i called hasport (not going to say who i talked to) i explained my situation and he told me that there is something wrong with my set up. i asked how could i if im using there mount and axles and my car aint that low and is not producing more power than what the axles said it could with stand. he still insisted on telling me that something was wrong with my set up so i told him that if there is then something is wrong with thier product because i am using them. so he told me to **** off and hang up on me. i called back to speak to a manager and was put on hold for 30 min so i hung up and called 2 days later and talked to somebody else and he helped me as much as he could.

so before you start making your opinions on thing maybe you should here the whole story.

One thing I am not doing is "making opinions", perhaps an assumption would be the correct term? Obviously there is more to this story than what is being said, as people are not just told to "**** off" and be hung up on. Perhaps you were being completely irrational and being abusive on the phone?

Regardless, glad to hear your problem is solved, and that your car needed an axle that was an inch different from every other car.

my axles were 250 a peice but i got some through warranties and such of that nature. cost me a pretty penny for shipping on axles also.

im not knocking hasport but just the person that told me to **** off and the other guy that said i was basically lieing when i told them i broke a bracket on their motor mount, which was taken off and rewelded on both sides

i have much respect for hasport and what they have done for the honda community. with out them alot of motor swaps would be next to impossible if they didnt come out with the mounts for them. i will more than likley use their product on my k24 block/k20 head turbo EG that i am soon to come out with and when they release the mounts for a EF ill probably end up putting a k20 into my CRX also.

thats where mine snapped too. but on the inner hub that goes into the tranny, also on the drivers side. they have a 6 month warranty, im actually in the process of sending mine back now. i ordered the 400hp axles too, they said the 200hp are known to break. and they are just used as an axle for a basic swap. not meant for racing. they were pretty cool when i talked to them though. so i dunno.

That's my car that is being referenced. I don't run EP3 axles in my EK because they are very weak (at least for track use). I run DDS axles in both the EK and EP. My EP3 axle broke at the track with the type-r motor in it (this is in the EP).
