Default axel question....b16 swap into 4th gen civic dx Hatch

ok one of the axels has a short spline that goes into the tranny housing..the other one has a long spline that goes into the tranny housing...anyone know which one goes on the left side and which goes on the right side?

The short splined axle is the passenger side one, that goes directly into the tranny housing. The fully splined axle is the driver's side, that needs to slide into an intermediate shaft and then the intermediate shaft connects to the tranny.

If you are using 90-93 Integra axles, you need the intermediate shaft form a 90-93 integra.

just remember, if you got a 5 million series swap, from a civic, IE blockstamped 5XXXXX then you probably have a SiR halfshaft, which means you need to use SiR axles. If you got a 1XXXXX swap, then you got the integra halfshaft, which means your good to go

it came out of a 92 JDM teg RSi so im good to go...
