average price for drive in/drive out gsr swap into eg
What is the average price for a shop to charge for this swap - motor/tranny, plus labor, changing timing belt, cap/rotor/plugs/wires, radiator hoses, thermostat, fluids, etc.? Everything, drive in w/ 70hp, drive out w/ 170

Between 4-5000, depending on whther or not you know who's doing it. If they cut you a deal, prolly around 4200 or so.

my labor rate is around 600-800 depending and whatever the changeover costs. factors are ac and tune up parts and clutch. those are the hidden costs.

It totally depends on the area. In SoCal where there is a speed shop on every corner and people swap engines like changing their socks you can find a deal but labor costs in the mid atlantic are still around $1,000 to $2,000. Its a rip off yes but thats just how it is.
