Automatic to manual civic eg for K20 swap
I was wondering if anybody has the experience on what is required to make a atuomatic civic hatch into a manual one? What parts are required, what parts are interchangeable and what parts are upgradeable?
I appreciate your help
Thanks

Re: Automatic to manual civic eg for K20 swap (Buitrex)
I think the auto EG chassis is a good choice for the K-series swap because you have to remove/replace the right hand frame rail mount bracket as part of doing the swap, and the K-series uses a cable style shifter. So, the issue of changing out the right hand frame rail bracket or using a custom trans mount and modifying the floorpan to accept the manual trans shift rods with putting a B-series engine in an auto EG chassis are not an issue with the K-series engine swap...IMO.

Basically, the main parts you'll need would be the pedal assembly, clutch master cylinder, and a k20 swap with mount kit and miscellaneous accessories..
