Automatic b16a into ek swap, need a little help/advice...
I have a customer that I did a swap for in the past. I put a jdm automatic b16a swap into his 93 auto civic sedan. He now wants an ek hatch and needs me to put this motor in the hatch. I'm not very concerned about the wiring since I'll be converting to obd1. I need info on the mounts. My ideas are
Upper tranny:
Use the stock civic upper tranny mount and bracket like on a normal 5spd b-series ek swap. Shim motor down or dent in frame rail for tranny clearance.
Front tranny:
Use the stock jdm auto b16a tranny bracket
Driver side:
Use a 99 -00 si bracket and the stock civic skirt and mount
Rear Tranny:
This is where I'm a little concerned. I plan on using the stock chassis mount that bolts to the rear crossmember. For the rear tranny bracket I will use the auto jdm b16a rear tranny bracket (EG bracket) and redrill the bolt hole that goes through the rear mount like what was done to gsr tranny brackets on ek swaps before the 99 si came out.
Has anyone here ever done or attempted this swap? This guy wants to buy the car in the nbext day or two after I give him the go ahead that I can do it. Any help is greatly appreciated.
PS.
I know my best bet for the rear tranny bracket is to find a jdm auto b16a one out of an EK but I don't expect to have any luck in finding one.

looks like I'm just going to go for it. I'm leaving the intake manifold off so I have room to modify the rear mount as much as needed or make a new one from scratch. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
I'd still appreciate any feedback from any of you guys who might have done this before.
