Chris..
if you wanna drop a B17 into your EG...you can only use the longblock, sell the B17 cable tranny for a good $$ and buy yourself a Hydro B16 or ITR trans. If you want to slap some CTR pistons into a B17A block, it's not hard. But I suggest you take the block to a machine shop and have them check out the condition of the B17 your about to purchase and find out if it you can just lightly hone it and use standard bore pistons or go oversize. Don't forget that you need to modify the B17A rods to fit any 'R' piston. Approx. 1mm needs to be shaved off each side of the rod at the wrist pin area in order for CTR piston to work with the B17 rod.
Here's a pic to help show what I mean:
If you can get the B17A ECU (P61) with your engine, that's good to, having it reprogrammed is a good idea if you're at least going to run 'R' cams
You can't reuse the axles...well you can with 1, but I suggest you sell the B17 axles and get 94+ integra axles w/intermediate shaft.
You'll need 94+ Integra engine mounts...
email me if you need more help...

ITR/CTR trannies range from $1000-1300
...thing is the b16 LSD tranny has the same gear ratios as a JDM 95.5-97 & US 97-98/00-01 ITR tranny. The LSD is the where both trannies differ - ITR has an Helical LSD while the B16/LSD's are non-helical but gear type.
You can go the HASport cable-hydro conversion way, it's up to you.
But, I highly suggest you go with a hydro transmission. A cable tranny's synchros tend to go out faster than a hydro's. Hydro's are more reliable in the long run, plus you can stick with OEM mounts which are cheaper than aftermarket mounts....but it's all up to you.
Whether you have a P28 or P61 ECU, it don't matter -- either ecu will act/work the same if running the same program, such as the Mugen program.

NO!!! Don't sell the GSR trans. Get the Hasport mount kit for the cable b16a setup. The gear ratio in that trans is great and you'll save some money. I used the GSR trans in my CX. My b17 had 120K miles, 145psi comp. and I ran a 9.5 in the 1/8 at 75mph (about mid 14's in the 1/4).

you can use any bseries presure plate but i beleive you need a a cable clutch disc and not hydro as the splines are different.

On the 92-93 integra's they have the large spline just like the 94-up trannies. So basically all 92-up Integra's use the same clutch kit. The only difference is that the throw out bearing is different in the 92-93 than the 94-up.
