I am so pissed off right now!!! THis morning when I woke up my car was gone!!! I called the tow company and the police, they hadn't towed any Honda's in the past 24 hours. I hate theives ...if anyone is in the Columbus, OH area, particularly the OSU campus please keep your eyes open for a '92 Teal Civic Hatchback w/ '97 GSR rims, Apex'i WS exhaust, lowered, and Autometer Tach inside. Besides that there aren't any other distinguishing features, under the hood is a '95 GSR engine with an oil leak coming from the cam seal. Thanks.

THAT JUST MAKES ME SO MAD THAT SOME COMPLETE LOSER OUT THERE WOULD DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT!!! i know that there is probably at least one person that is at this forum that has stolen a car and that has got to be one of the worst things anyone could ever do and people like that deserver to be locked up in prison for atleast 20 years.we spend lots of time and money on our project cars and than some f-ing moron has to go steal it for parts. The only thing that seemed to help was that the worthless f**k got caught and after goin to the trial I know his name and what he looks like. Thanks for the replys guys. No, I didn't have a theft deterrent system. I know, that was really dumb of me. I had lived in a pretty safe neighborhood prior to the theft but last week I moved into an apartment down on campus which isn't quite as safe. Well..whatever happens my next vehicle will definitely have some sort of alarm on it. Hopefully the cops will find my car soon.

mental note: there is no such thing as a safe neighborhood. i live on the far east side of my city in a brand new development. theres a middle school throwing distance from my house. my friends car was broken into a while ago. it just boggles the mind. and for security an alarm is good but lojack is better. if you just get an alarm grab a proximity sensor and some loud *** sirens. i have 3 mini piazos (spelling) in my car. there so incredibly loud.

Honda4CX-R: Before moving to campus I lived a little north of Worthington. What part of Ohio do you live in?
I'm hoping it's just teenage kids going for a joy ride..hopefully my engine won't be hurt too bad if it's even still in the car...I worked hard and paid for everything on that car...I miss it...I've definitely learned my lesson...too bad I had to learn the hard way...what kills me is the fact that I just got a turbo kit for my car..it's still sitting in my room at home I hope they catch those damn theives...if not at least I'd like my car back in one piece... Thanks for the support

Sorry bout your car bro, I know I was pissed when some bastards just jacked a bunch of cd's and a pos system.

There was a crazy story in the news yesturday, happened somewhere in Phoenix. Some guy was at a gas station and left everything running, and some punk decided to take off in it. Long story short, the guy whose truck was stolen was with a friend who was in a different car, so they didn't hesitate and chased the **** down. They boxed him in somehow, pulled him out of the car, got him on the ground and put a bullet in his head. Now thats a messed up situation, 1 guy dead and the other doing life. I guess my point is, it coulda been a lot worse.

My brother lived near Campus and someone tried to break into his passenger's side door, but the cops were on their trail so they did not have time to break in.

However they damaged his door pretty bad tryig to pry it open, again he was in the process of installing an Alarm within two weeks. Eventually he moved out from that area and has not had any more problems since.

Sorry man. As shitty as it sounds, you're now a statistic. My 99 Si's been stolen twice now. Nothing can replace your pride and joy after someone ***** with it. No words can explain how pissed off you are when it happens. Good luck with insurance!

Dang!! I feel so sorry for you! I am as well living in central Ohio. (Was attending OSU till 98. Living off north High while in OSU.) I guess it's just not a good way to know another hybrider in a message thread like this.

Man I feel for you. I have seen what they do to the cars. Total waste of your time and effort and love you put into your car. I swear if someone stole my car I would let everyone around me know about it in 2 ways. My attitude would be pissy and I would be telling them to look out for my car. Hope u find it in 1 piece.
