Default anything positive out of removing a charcoal canister?

I'm just curious about this? I don't have smog checks by me but just curious if anything useful can come out of removing it besides like freeing up space? If I remove it would i get a CEL or anything? I'm swapping in a new motor into the hatch and just trying to clean up the engine bay a little. It's a 92 EH2 with a d15bvtec going in it.

If ya wanna get cancer.... go for it.

The charcoal cannister is pretty important in the emissions system.... moreso than a cat IMO. Keep it in ! Plus no benefits as far as power either.
