Anyone using a JDM ITR 4-1 header in an EG w/ B series?
I'm down to researching headers for my B16 build-up. "SEARCH" has yielded tons of good info on performance, but I've still got (2) questions.
1) Do these headers have a 2nd O2 sensor bung or is it on the cat? If on the header, can it be plugged for an OBD1 car?
2) Anyone having any ground clearanance problems at the collector? Even my stock 4-2-1 D-series header has some "grind" marks on it. I'm really concerned that a 4-1 header is going to be on the ground with every dip in the road. It's only a 1.25" Eibach Pro-Kit drop, but the roads around here are in horrific condition after the winter.
Your input is appreciated.

1. they do have an o2 sensor on them and yes because it worked in my b16 eg
2. yes, there are ground clearence issues, they hang very low. but you should be okay if you buy the skid plate for it. (its only for the jdm itr, not the jdm dc itr). i was on a 1.5 drop and it didnt scrape.
dont worry, i had the same setup as you and it worked beautifully. you have to get a cat with a 2.5 flange at the end of it so you can hook it on the 2.5 collector of the header. i recommend getting a 2.5 cat so you can fully use the header to its potential. i got mines from testpipe.com and it fit like a charm. no fittment issues at all.

Right on Pennies, thanks a lot! I'll be sure I get the skid plate! I've already got my 2.5" Carsound and just need to have the proper flanges put on it.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!
