anyone have power steering in their h22/eg?
i may be able to pick up a 94 si this spring. i'd really love to pick up the car and drop a h22 in it. anyway i've been doing a lot of research on the project and haven't really seen anything regaurding saving power steering. i could care less about a/c but would like to keep power steering.
has anyone maintained power steering in their eg/h22 (specifically a hatch)? if so how hard was it? the article i read on honda tuning magazine's site seemed to imply that there is no way to keep it, altho i think that article is kinda old and sorta outdated.

I have a Turboed H22 Integra, but it's really just a eg obviously. I have P/S. All you have to do is put the Prelude end of the high pressure line on your current line, or just have an entire new line made like I did. It's simple and it fits easily.
There is a misconception that eg's are a tight fit for the H22. It's complete BS, the h22 sits much closer to the firewall with the HCP or Hasport, leaving ample room up front for both A/C and P/S. Not that anyone really wants A/C. Just don't go with Place Racing mounts, they have a tendancy to place the motor closer to the front of the engine bay and create bad axel lines. Meaning, snapping axels is more likely with them in my opinion.

On the EG Civic chassis, you need to use the 97+ Prelude PS pump & bracket since it's smaller and clears the hood. On the EK Civic and DC Integra chassis, you can use the 92+ Prelude PS pump & bracket since the hood has more clearance in the front by the headlight.

Re: (Newman)
thx for the info guys
i may end up going with a b18c1 for simplicities sake tho. plus it would be easier to go fi later on if i go b18c1. i was ready to completely rule out a h22 if ps was impossible or extremely hard to do. nice to know that option is still available tho.
