Anyone bought a motor from Ebay?
I'm looking for a 98 Spec JDM ITR motor but would settle for a clean 96 spec. I've seen a few sellers on ebay with decent prices. Has anyone gotten a motor from an ebay vendor? If so are there certain vendors to avoid or any that you guys recommend?

I bought a H22A "complete swap" from ebay seller jdmspeedlab (they also have a website http://www.jdmspeedlab.com) - my experience was kinda shady with them and here are some things to note about them ...
Foremost, note that the seller is actually a middleman for Osaka Motors / Osaka Japan which is based in Canada (So you're motor comes from Canada although the guy is here in the states) - I only found this out after I bought it - Osaka has got some TERRIBLE reviews too
1. The seller told me that their motors are very clean and they also clean them up - NOT TRUE - the motor I received looked like it was dropped in the ocean on it's way to Canada and then picked up after sitting in the water for a day or two. This is how BAD it looked.
2. They call it a "complete swap" - I received a hacked up harness with took us many hours to reconstruct since I was low on cash. Did not receive my shifter cables or box and that took another THREE weeks to come after numerous calls.
3. LOL, the only good thing I can say is that the motor started right up and had great compression across the board.
I do know that hmotorsonline has had the most good reviews but they are a little bit more on prices but hey, you get what you pay for huh?
