altenator belt for h22 swap w/o ac???
I need a altenator belt for my h22 in my 95 civic w/o ac. I tried the 36" belt but it was to long.
I couldn't tighten it up due to the headlight housing.
Should I just find a 35" belt or what should I do?
any info would be great

If the alternator has an aftermarket pulley on it take it off. Mines in an em1 and the aftermarket pulley caused me all kinds of problems.

no it has the oem pulley. the alternator pulley hits the housing before the 36" belt is tight.
what do I do?

what do I do?</TD></TR></TABLE>go with a smaller belt. next size down or two sizes down depending on how loose it is.

or you can just run the alternator relocation bracket. it saves a lot of room. and uses a 32" belt. Innovative makes a great one... see my Sig.

it relocates the alternator down to where the power steering originally went. works great and saves room. it will be miles away from hitting anything!
heres a pic from innovatives site. and a pic of it installed.

mine reached with no problem. its not that far. and there is slack in mine. unless your harness is super tight? i have a little slack in mine and it reached fine.
