Default which alt. belt for swap???????

have an 88 crx with itr motor and need to know which alt. belt will fit? do i just get some string and take it to the auto store??? what about adjustments??

Hmmm... Sounds to me like you have an ITR swap. So I'll go out on a limb and say that you'll need the belt for an ITR...

its just that there's no room. ive banged out the area for the alt. and it seems id need a new belt. running the N-1 pully to save room. ill use the string to make sure

For those who don't know (as it seems there are a few):

The alternator is really close to the frame rail for a 88-91 Civic/CR-X B-series swap so it is recommended that you get a smaller belt to pull the alternator closer to the engine.

String or tape measure is good to use. Going an inch down from the current size is a good starting point. I used a 305K4.
