Default all motor H22a or JRSC B18C5 in a eg..............

like topic says. i cant decide which one i want to do. the h22a has a low rev limit and would cost a bit more to do the swap, then i heard that the B18C5 doesnt do good with boost especialy on a JRSC.so what would you pick? im leaning for all motor h22a.

Is it me or these threads are everywhere now.

I like I tell everyone, I prefer H22a, I like underdogs. It is your car, your money. If you like H22a better go for it. What ever makes you happier is the best swap for you.

no no, i dont have the duce duce yet , still deciding on a swap, the car right now has a 98 jdm b16, but me no like so im debating on b18b, b18c1 and h22, pretty funny cause they are all completly differnt swaps.lol only thing is i love the h22's toque and the car is daily driven and i dont autocross so i aint worried about handling even thought the h22 handles jsut as well as a b-series(Newmans review ) But the h22 clearance i have never seen a good sight of it. the headers the oil pan u new all the crap

You definitely do not want to go too low with the H22. I seem to catch my down pipe occasionally with a very modest 1.5" drop on progress springs matched for the H22 civic... of course I deal with speed bumps every day

I'd go with a b18c1 w/ JRSC over the c5. Not too much difference in power, but a lot less $...
