Default be all end all to h22/civic wiring :)

WTF do i do about the injector resistor crap?

will it come with my engine, or is it something i'll have to get from a junkyard or what?

also, does anybody have a FULL wiring diagram made up already....Poison and I are trying to get one made up, but if someone's already done it, would you care to share?

You need to get one from an accord or anywhere. The civic harness already has a plug for it all you have to do is really just plug it in.. Having an Accord harness around also will be benificial also so that you can take whatever you need off of it..

Remember all the pinouts for the lude ECU and the Civic ecu are the same except for the vtec wires, knock sensor and o2 sensor. So not much rewiring is needed.

i need to get a complete accord harness or i need to get an injector resistor box dealy? Also, what year car should i be trying to get this from?
and when you say harness, do you mean the complete underhood harness? or ECU to underhood harness section?

Just the resistor box and connector.. On the civic harness there is already a plug for the resistor box you just have to take off the blocked off end and connect everything up..

Jason,
I'm getting an OBD1 H22a and have a 96 hatch. From my understanding, I have to rewire quite a bit of the engine harness to make things work.. Thanks for the info on the resistor box, by the way!! What year accord can I get this off? -90-94 work? Thx!

Jason,
Hey man, sorry to bring this one back from the dead, but I need major help now with my H22!! I have an EK hatch that came with NO engine harness, so I got one from a 2000 Si. It goes directly into my ECU, using the OBD converter, of course, but it's got a LOT of plugs to the motor?! ANY help you can give as to how to wire this engine/harness/car combo would be GREATLY appreciated! Any pics, how-to's, etc? Thanks man.

You can't use the 99-00 Si harness in a 96-98 Civic.

The interiro harness is totally different.

Buy a 96-98 EX harness and call it a day.

also, READ http://www.jspectuning.com/6gen

Buy a helms too, sounds like you'll need it. http://www.helminc.com

Damn I am just seeing this. You live close enough but I have no idea where Elmira is. The wiring is pretty much straight forward. It would help if you had the harness from an accord or lude as well to switch some plugs around since the civic is setup a little bit different. Any help I would have to offer you could never be typed in any one response as the wiring is pretty much detailed oriented..

But if you have any questions please feel free to IM me and I will see what I can answer..

Thanks for the offer, man!! I have the JSpec H22 harness that came with the motor, so no worries there, right? Actually, I'm about 6 hours north of the city by car. I'm right along the northern PA border. Anyways, thanks! I may be IMing you in the future!!!

u can use ur stock ek harness and just add the wires needed, or if u got the money to spend pick up that 96-98 ex harness....imo just pick up a gsr ecu so u dont have to use a resistor box, get some rc injectors, and rechip that ecu for better fuel maps..also if u use the gsr ecu u dont have to use the stupid egr valve....then grab u a vtec controller and a dyno and tune that baby..this is what im doing in a couple weeks..cant wait..

Well, see, that's what sux. I didn't get one with my car... Yeah, it was a previous swap car, and the previous owner took out the engine and harness. I'm just trying to make it as painless as possible.. I already have the P13, I believe it is.. the OBD1 H22 ECM. Thanks!
