Default aem v2 worth the extra $80?

are there any numbers to back it up, i cant find any?

worth the extra $80 over what setup? I personally like the Hondata setup that I have in our shop's 98 hatchback w/H22A (S200 model w/modified Type S settings).

hes talking about the v2 intake not the ems.

I got the aem cai because of the carb number on it (smog purposes). I believe the v2 is pending for one. That may have a major factor in your decision.

i say the V2 is worth it. i jus like newer parts. but i heard good reveiws for it except for the type r, dats y they discontinued it.

but yes the V2 carb is still pending

There's not much of a difference in a lot of the intake showdowns they've done sometimes. It's not enough to spend $80 more for. Use that money to save into another mod. You could make your own and work just as good. A lot of ppl have been satisfied with them.
