99 eK SWAP problem with wireing harness,,, need help!
WAASssupp
i have a 96 USDM GSR engine, 99 si wireing harness, Skunk2 OBDII to OBDI jumper harness, and a mugen chipped P28 ECU... the problem, the ECU plugs off the 99 Si harness, only two plug into the skunk2 jumper, which is the gray and blue plugs, the green one does not match at all... does the plug need to be changed or do i have the wrong Skunk2 jumper?(i thought they only made ONE ECU jumper) maybe not. or did i screw up all together and get the Wrong ECU? i need some mean style help here, to all that help me out,, thanks a ton.

Two things:
You need the Skunk2 OBDII.b (99-00) to OBDI (92-95) ecu harness converter,
You are confusing the green interior plug (two row) that is used for the speedo, secondary O2 and stuff like that.
ECU plugs are gray and one is blue.

there is a difference between 96-98 obd2 and 99-00 obd2. 99-00 is unofficially obd2.5. anyways. im thinking that the 96 gsr is obd2 so you would need the wiring harness that comes with that engine or in that car... if you see what im saying. the skunk 2 jumper that you have is probably for 96-98 obd2 and thats why it wont plug up to the 99si wiring harness.

If your car is 99, then stick with the si harness. You need to plug in the green plug of the si harness into your interior stock harness. Your interior stock harness has the 3rd plug for your jumper, assuming you have the right year ecu jumper harness.
