99 b18b in 97 EK cranking but not starting.
ok all the wires have been connected except for:
secondary O2
bright green plug by the alternator
wire that looks like a ground(2 brown/black, 1 black) that forms into a square
all the wires that need to be fixed have been followed:
IACV
CKP
primary O2 extended
ok im checking tomorrow:
spark
igniter
ignition rotor
battery might need a charge
another thing. my engine doesnt seem to get fuel. when i put the key in the ON position, i noticed that my fuel pump doesnt make a sound, like it's not priming the fuel line.
anybody else have suggestions.

u need to go ahead and hook up that CKP sensor (crankshaft position sensor) that plays a tiny role with the distributor.
i would also finish connecting ur alternator. ur car may run with out it for a little while.. but starting it for the first time, u should have everything hooked up.
as for the fuel... just double check ur wiring...make sure everything is where it is supposed to be.. and if u find all ur wires to be in the rite place.... u might wanna check ur spark plugs... if u try to start it to much. they can get fouled out... happened to me.. everything was hooked up.. fuel pump came on. sounded like it wanted to start.. just wouldnt.. checked the plugs. solid black. ... solid black plugs wont start a car.
good luck. hope this helps.
