Default 99-00 5 lug Hatch people - got sway question(s)

For those of you with a 5 lug conversion on your 99-00 Hatch...

~What sway bars did you go with?
~I'm not tail happy (yet) so what do you suggest?
~Easiest & Best front sway to install when doing 5 lug conversion.

I was thinkingof using a 99-00 Si rear sway and buying a brand name front sway.
My driving will consist mostly daily hard driving and several autoX & track events!

my friend has the ST front and Comtech rear on his 99-00 HB with 5 lug swap and says it's tight and possibly too tight for my liking in the rear - it gets *** happy too easy!
No I do not have a camber kit! Do I NEED one??
I'll check the other forum on the ST topic.
Thanks

And the Si front will work for a 99-00 DX HB?????
I thought I had to get Si front Control Arms to get it to work?

I've heard the ITR rear works. As it's been mentioned above.

~~ NAVIN - yep yep, sure did, sold the Si, got a 99-00 HB!

correct ******* , you do need to use the front Si LCA's. At VIR, in the big heavy coupe, it felt very neutral with the stock sway bars, if not a little tail happy.

Well to avoid buying more stuff... I'm gonna go with a front sway that will work without the Si front LCA's!

I think the Progess front sway will work?

ahh you are correct for the stock DX HB LCA's.

I'll have to wait and see if my 5 lug comes with front LCA or not!

If NOT... then it looks like I'll go with the Si fronts.
Unless there is another suggestion to consider???

Not sure if the CTR front lca is the same as the SI (I know the sway bar is).. I have the front CTR lca and swaybar along with the ITR rear (SI endlinks needed).. I haven't set it up yet since i want to remove the whole suspension and repaint it, install all new bushings (the ones available), install big brakes all the way around, and install the sways.. I have everything except the bushings as I'm waiting for some cash flow..

I know the swaybar setup above is liked by those who run it, however I've gotten mixed responses regarding too much understeer in turns.. I'm going to install it and get used to it then take it off and see how I like it.. Live 'n learn

I guess I'll just sit and wait to see what all I get when the 5 lug comes!

Then after reviewing my options - I'll be on the lookout for whatever else it is I need to make it a complete ready to install conversion!

Thanks for everyones help.

if you really want overstear go with a smaller front liek that of an ex 22mm i believe instead of the massive 26mm si one. then get a mugen 22mm in back and the beaks reinforcement kit.

Jesse - I did NOT want the car to be *** happy!
I'll probably go with an Si rear and ??? front.

I still have NOT heard from some of the peeps with 99-00 HB 5 lug swaps and what F&R sways they are using!

Cool. I'm down for some CTR goodies. Now I just need to find them!

Who has CTR front LCA's and a CTR front sway? I need them soon.
