Default 98 dx ecu swap (p06) obd1 cel light?

I did an obd2-obd1 ecu swap to get rid of the 2nd o2 sensor. With the obd1 p06 ecu plugged in the engine lights comes on and the throttle revs back and forth.

Please help.

are you getting a check engine light? and if so, what code is it throwing?

I'm guessing its throwing code 14 (iacv) which will affect your idle because a 98 CX/DX uses a 3-wire IACV and a P06 ecu is looking for a 2-wire IACV.
