Let me start off by saying I love this motor. With simple bolt ons like UR pulleys, Fidanza flywheel, Clutchmasters Clutch, Skunk2 cam gears, Magnecor wires, etc., this motor feels as strong as my boosted Y8. I should of went B series a long time ago. With that said, this swap was a bitch.

I bought an OBD2a DX engine harness for the motor, but didn't think about the interior harness. In came about three hours of sodering. If you plan on doing the same swap, do not forget about this. OBD2a and OBD2b wiring is completely different. to me, I should of just bought an OBD2b to OBD2a conversion harness.

The 99 SI timing belt side motor mount needed the holes bored out for the bolts to fit into the block. Ever tried to drill through forged steel? I did, burned three bits and gave up. Took it to the machine shop. Two full hours of drilling on a press, it was complete.

The IACV pin switch was a breeze. So was the plug switching and sodering, just a little time consuming for good clean work. I did some searching on here and found great info from Trey.

This write up could of been more informative with pics and more info, but I spent all day getting this thing running and I don't have it in me. If anyone wants to attempt a similar swap, just IM and I will try to answer any questions you have. Other than that, like Trey said in his write up, try to stay in the same generation with a swap, that way you won't have a million wiring issues.
