what model of hatch? CX, DX?

you will need to add vtec, knock sensor, iab's aka secondary butterflies (optional), and egr (also optional, but might throw the code), and extend a few other wires.

here's how:

you will have to extend alternator cables, add the prelude's starter cable or extend the civic's.

VTEC oil pressure sensor for ground (tap into Grn/Wht wire), ECU Signal leading to D6 pin-out on ECU

VTEC solenoid valve to ECU leading to A4 pin-out on ECU

Knock Sensor (mounted at rear of engine near cyl head), add wire to harness to ECU Signal leading to D3 on ECU

Air Intake Bypass solenoid – add two wires. Sensor voltage (tap into Yel/Wht wire) and ECU Signal leading to A17 pin-out on ECU

EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) System (required for USDM P13’s, JDM P13’s are optional). Five wires need to be added.

EGR lift valve solenoid – sensor voltage (tap into Yel/Wht wire) & ECU signal (tap into Red wire from firewall leading to A11 pin-out on ECU)

EGR lift sensor – sensor voltage (tap into Yel/Wht wire), ground (tap into Grn/Wht wire) & ECU Signal (tap into Wht/Blk from firewall leading to D12 pin-out on ECU)

------------------

for axle combos, depending on what mid-shaft you are using, i would recommend getting DSS stage 1 axles using the prelude mid-shaft.

the cheapest combo you can go is accord mid-shaft with integra axles.

Give some details bro. What harness are you using?? What mounts?? Also why do you say the axle was to short?? On my car i have the place racing mounts and im using 90-93 teg axles and a 90-93 accord intermediate shaft and it works great. Also i am using a 96-98 ex harness. You can use the ex or hx cause they both have vtec. You have to use a 96-98 harness no matter what though, and u have to rewire the dist plugs. Also have to extend and change lots of plugs. Also make sure your grounds are good or it wont fire up.. Let me know. Laters
