'97 GSR swap into '97 7g Civic EX: MAP high voltage code??
Got the motor swapped and traced all the wires and they are to the correct place in the ECU connector, MAP sensor reads what seems to be normal voltage. .4v at idle and it goes to 2.1v's at less than 1/4 throttle in the higher rpm range. Cant give it any throttle past that or it will act like it hits rev limiter and drop down and die. Disconnect the sensor and the car runs normally except for the rich conditions down low. I also swapped out for a good sensor and the same issues occur. Any suggestions/help would be appreciated. TIA

It was a bad MAP sensor.
I also had a bad TPS code which was a broken plug and a cracked terminal. So I pull it out and put the civic unit on and still have the code. Time to spend more time on that. It also has a heated o2 sensor circuit malfunction and knock sensor 1 code, it only gets that one when it hits VTEC Nothing goes easy.
