Default 96' B18C GSR swap into a 95 civic HB si, need help..

i'm swapping a 96' gsr engine into my 95' civic si HB, can somone tell me what i need to do to make this swap run right and what i need to get or change to do this project, obd? conversion, ect. thanks

everything is bolt in...use the obd2 harness and everything..only one of the plugs on the passengerside will not work...wire up knock sensor to the ecu and IAB to the ecu and your done...basically your engine bay side will be obd2 and the compartment side will be obd1...no need for a conversion harness....thats the easiet way of making it work..let me know if you have any questions...

what about the engine mounts that came with the engine, will those work or will i need to get different ones? thank for your help!!

those will bolt on directly...no problems

Yes, there is no need for an OBD conversion or anything like that, just get yourself an OBD1 P72 ECU and use a USDM OBD2 engine harness. The harness will make the OBD2 components plug and play and it will plug into your cabin harness plugs at the shock towers. You will have minimal wiring to do since the car was already equipped with a VTEC motor. You'll need to wire up the Knock sensor and IAB, other than that it's pretty much straight forward.

In my opinion I go with all motor But if you want lots of attention then turbo it and make your car sneeze each time you change gear
