Default 96 acccord ex euro r swap

So my car is a 1996 accord f22b1 with a p2 trans. So ive been searching for more info on this kind of swap. And so far all ive found out is that ill need a motor mount from a prelude, a harness to convert from obd2a to obd2b, and euro r ecu. Use the accord axles, h22 header with accord header back exhaust. There was some vague info about re-wireing the distributor but nothing specific. i want to get everything ill need before the motor comes. If anybody has more datail on what this involves and what else ill need from other honda's to make this work, it would be much appricated.

You only need the Prelude mount for the USDM H22s. The Euro-Rs use a post bracket that the factory Accord mount will bolt right onto aka you can use all factory Accord mounts. You just need to take the stud off the post bracket of the Euro-R and replace it with the Accord stud or use a bolt. Same goes for JDM H23A, F20B, etc.

Want to go from obd2a to b. Why is that?

Isn't better to switch to obd1 and use chipped crome or hondata?

Put more info...

yeah i would also like a bit more info on this. This is something i'd like to take on later in the year. I'm assuming the OP wants to use the PCD ecu to keep it somewhat simple. I've only ever heard terrible experiences involving idling issues, egr and iavc... most just end up going OBD1.

If anyone has more insight regarding the Euro R swap into the OBD2 CD accords i'd like to know more.

Any outcome on this? I put a euro r in my 93 accord(obd1) with ecu jumper harness, distributor jumper harness, & injector wire jumpers & my car will not idle from start. I keep reading about people just converting to OBD1 for this setup. Why is the euro r ecu so hard to use?
