95 GSR motor into 96 EK? Engine harness question
I have a 95 OBD1 GSR motor that I am attempting to put into my 96 EK hatchback CX.
The reason I am going with OBD1 is because it came out of my EG and I now have an EK.
I have the OBD2 dizzy, injectors, altenator, and the OBD2b -> OBD1 conversion harness.
Question is, can I use a 99-00 SI engine harness on the 96-98 chassis? They are interchangable or not?
I know that this swap is illegal in some states but in texas it is legal.

Use your stock harness and modify as needed. OBD2a harnesses stay in 96-98 Civic's and OBD2b harnesses stay in 99-00 Civic's.
