95 civic ls swap CEL CODE 16 cylinder 4
ok guys let me start of by saying any and all help will be appreciated. ok I have a 95 eg coupe, ls swap, auto cluster p06 ecu. (just explaining how I bought the car) car was not running when I picked It up, got it home and turned out to be no power to fuel pump fixed a lot of wires and got it going, threw a 16,19,6 codes , fuel injector, automatic transmission lockup control valve, water temp sensor, well after some research I seen I need a p75 so I plugged my buddies in and wala it ran a little better still getting the 16 code, fixed all butt connectors in injector wiring with sauter and even pulled all injectors out and put in varsal cleaner for about 15 min, all fuses are good, and not really sure what the problem is, pulling my hair out with this one guys, I seen some half *** wiring going to a little black box connections are ugly and tacky but sautered none the less, so im wondering what could be the problem? any help? also on another note it will not revv past 4k, I think I have narrowed it down to cylinder 4, reason being is because while she is running I will pull each sparkplug wire out and their is a noticeable difference until I get to cylinder 4, then it pretty much doesn't change,

Every solder point creates more resistance and can mess up the way the computer reads and controls the injector(s). Try running new wires.
Also, are you sure that resistor box is the right one for the LS engine?

ok I will defiantly try and re run the wires, What I see now is 4 yellow/black stripe wires coming from the harness and they are all jumped to a red wire going to the box, then the signal wires come from said box and go to each injector? and also how would I tell which resistor box I need? not to familiar with Honda swaps? have a mechanic shop we do mainly Volvos and saabs,

How would I know which resistor box I would need? im beginning to think that is my problem, I do not have a noid light, I have switched the injectors and it still is the 4th cylinder? also pulled all plugs and 4th is clean like its burning fuel but it know its getting spark, what would happen if I just hooked the injectors up power and signal wires coming from the harness? basically bypass the box?

if you switched the injectors and the problem is still on cyl 4 then obviously your problem is electrical with cylinder 4. Go get a freaking noid light from vatozone (you can rent it free!!) and plug it in. I can guarantee you that it will not light up because there is no ground or power to the injector. If it was a freaking fuel problem than all would be missing. These cars throw code 16 because there is an electrical issue. it cant pickup misfires. Stop wasting money and time. and leave the freaking resistor box there. There is no difference between integra and ef on resistor boxes.

UPDATE no thanks to this guys rude response,,, did it the old school way and hooked my test light up to the + battery cable and stuck the probe in the signal wire no signal!! yay so some kind of luck, I knew all power wires were good, so Im gonna trace the wire and if I find no luck there I will just find the ecu pin and run a new jumper wire. also want to know if I need to wire the resistor box back in?
