95 civic ex swap questions
HI, I have a 1995 civic ex v-tec and am looking to get a swap
There are 5 basic things i want the engine to do.
1. Good mpg
2. Reliable
3. Fast
4. Priced well
5. Easliy modified
If you have high knowlede of honda engines and what swap I should get please post.
I have found a gsr swap for 2500
and a b16a2 for 1200
Any suggestions on what engine i should get.....ls, gsr, si...so many choices
Thanks

From your boundaries, both of those options you mentioned are good.
As for other questions you have I would suggest searching recent/archived topics in the hybrid forum, and EG+/Del Sol forum to find out more answers.

If you can find a legit GSR swap for 2500 go for it. Make sure the motor is not junk. $1200 for a B16? Are you sure it's not a first generation B16A1? What big cities is Humble TX near?

make sure those motors are legit. seems too good of a price. however, if its legit with life still left in it, you've got yourself a killer deal. personally, i'd go with the gsr.
