95 Civic Ej1 B16A1 swapped idles at 1500-2000rpm
I got this car from a friend of mine who can't find the problem why the car idles at 1500-2000rpm. When the engine is warm it idles that high and when the car is cold or cooled off it idles at 2800rpm but slowly goes down to 2000rpm after letting the car warm up for a min. He added a new air intake, throttle body with TPS also, half radiator, and more but I can't remember. He checked for any air hoses that may have leaked out air but found nothing, checked the throttle body to see if it was secure and clean which it was.
He told me the car ran just fine before he put the Throttle positioning sensor (TPS) on the car then after it was installed the car idled high and has been for a month now. Anyone got any suggestions or know why it's idling so high?
