92 da teg b20z/vtec set up, could stock fueling handle motor?
sup ya, just like my topic states. I have a b20z/vtec in my 92 teg. Everything regarding fueling is stock exept i have a adj. regulator set at 45psi at idle. Would that be sufficent enough for the motor without leaning it out temporarily. I diffently plan on upgrading my fuel pump, injectors, fuel rail and IM when my money's right. Just want to know if the stock fueling setup with the pressure set at 45 psi is is suffecient for the motor for the time being?

that is what i am running in my DA teg...
b20vtec with R cams, R 4-1's cam gears, stock internals, running 45psi without vacuum on stock fuel system...
i am thinking of upgrading to a my98 WRX internal fuel pump, due to future mods...
teh only way to know if YOUR set up can handle it, is on a dyno...

I had my regulator set at 45 psi, didn't run right. The vaccum nipple on my regulator broke so without vaccum it brought it to 50 psi. Still didn't run right until I fixed the nipple and hooked up my vaccum line to the reg. Change the psi to 52 and now I can tell a differnece in how the car pulls.

Get it wideband tuned, then you'll know if you're hitting lean spots. Otherwise you'll never know.
