like others said, check your grounds? also you can run it with stock ecu, i've ran mine with a p06 no problem, just didn't pull very hard

Did you check to see what code is being thrown? If its not running with a stock P75 a chipped P28 isn't going to fix your problem, you could just chip the P06 DX EX anyway if you wanted something chipped.

You can easily pull the codes yourself, see here: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/how-pull-cel-d4-srs-abs-codes-code-lists-1901557/

here is the codes it is pulling 3 MAP - manifold absolute pressure sensor
4 CKP - crank position sensor
14 IAC (EACV) - idle air control valve i rest it like it said to do and te only one im getting noe is the 3 MAP - manifold absolute pressure sensor
so im guessing the map sensor is bad or something is making it throw that code

Check to see if you mixed up the MAP and TPS connector

Map Sensor
3 wires spaced left to right
White-Green-Yellow/green

TPS sensor
3 wires spaced left to right
Yellow/White-Red/Blue-Green/White

What engine harness did you use? '92 - '93 Civic DX/LX models have a firewall mounted MAP sensor , you have to unplug it and plug the connector into the MAP sensor on the top of the throttlebody.

the tps and the map have the same plug but they are only long enough to hook to designated areas... i would say the reason y u have a iacv, and all the popping up is u didnt bleed the head correctly??? did u fill it with antifreze and crack the bleeder screW?? that will make it run high and like **** ...

bleeder screw is located on the return line to the radiator aka top hose

follow top hose till it meets with block.. it should have a 12mm screw with a little nipple in the middle u cannot miss it...
fill er up with anti- freze put cap back on and let it get warm,
make sure u turn the heat on and all the way on high...
wait till the fan turns on and crack the bleeder screw, u will see antifreze coming out bubbling and once the bubbles dissapear and its coming out in a stream u should be fine

close screw and take er for a ride

Its in the distributor and its more than likely why its running in limp mode.

You'll need another distributor, or if you still have your old D-series distributor you can take them apart and swap the CYP/CKP/TDC sensors between them.
