92 civic with jdm b16a problems
ok got the swap in seems to run great still have CEL for o2 and knock not a big deal those are easy to fix, but here is the ******* at about 4-5 k rpms the ******* tach starts doing the bouncing **** all over the place , takes its self to like way past redline then back. im thinking it is a distributor problem like the igniter or coil maybe?
anyone have any ideas, also it didnt have any problems with the sohc motor before we did the swap.
any help would be great

. In most cases a bouncing tach means that your ignitor is going out. If you have access from a friend or something, just swap in a different distributor and drive around the block... bet you that your problem will be solved, thus leaving you to know that your existing distributor needs new parts.
