Default 92 civic CX USDM b18c1 to JDM h22 HELP

I currently have a -BLOWN!- GSR engine in my 92 civic CX... engine shop took it for a joy ride.. we're going to put a jdm h22a into it now.... wondering how hard it will be be going from b18 stuff to h22... it has MSD ignition in there .... can that be used with the prelude engine? What do you guys think
thanks

Anthony

your going to do the same things that you would have to do if you were going from a d-series. But you will not have to wire up knock and vtec. Oh, and your Four wires o2 is already wired up too.

Edit: your IABs will be wired for the h22a too.

It is a Jdm swap, so it has a internal coil. it will be the same as the b18c.

Awesome. Well, I'll tell you the story in the short term real quick... few weeks into basic training me and my girlfriends civic got broken into.. they stole the gsr seats, all gauges, broke dash and cut up the ignition wiring and stuff.. she had it sent to a shop to have work done to it and they took it for a joy ride or something... they wont tell us what happened, but anyways, they floated a valve,.. shattered 2 pistons and cracked the cylinder wall.. ruined the engine,. they're either going to give us insurance money or we're going to sue.. either or, the money is going towards a JDM h22a swap I can't wait to have it done.. it'll be a beast

Got done building my friend's b18c (high comp ITR motor in a EG). He had a big dent in the door so we take it to the body shop. So he got a day to take it in. We get there and telling them that we are taking the ECU out and the dizzy and they will have to push the car in and out (the ECU had no RPM limiter). They flip and bitch. My friend says **** it and leave the ECU and dizzy in. Few days later, he gets a call that he car is done. So he goes to pick it up and pays the bill. he goes to start the car and what does it do? not start, not even turn over. the people blew the rod into the side of the block. We all learned the lesson.

Sorry for the OT, body shops up set me sometimes.

I'm kinda happy they did it.. that car never did run right to begin with. Hopefully I'll get enough for the whole swap :-)
