92 B18a into a 92 vx got some ?'s
I know the first thing everyone is going say is do a search. Well I did and I found some good information but I just want to confirm some of things that I read and also ask some new questions.
From what I have read this is what I understand that I need:
1. Cable to hydro conversion kit from Haspsot which comes with all the engine mounts.
2. This is were I have my first question. I read the another member said that the axles will be about an inch to short and that I will have to use 88-89 prelude axles or have them custom built. Is this true? If so does anyone know of a shop that will make these for me?
3. My friend came across a B16 hydro tranny for cheap and we were thinking that instead of buying the hasport conversion kit that we could just use the b16 tranny does that sound like a good idea?
My final goal for the car to to be quick in the 1/4 mile. I already have a turbo kit from my 2000 si that I plan to put on this car after I get a new intercooler and intercooler piping. Any help will be apprecaited Thanks

Re: 92 B18a into a 92 vx got some ?'s (Nerv2g)
As for the axles use the complete 92 B18a's axles with intermediate shaft and you will have no problems at all on your 92 civic. As for the hydro B16 tranny it does have closer gear ratios than the LS tranny so it will accelerate faster. I would go with the B16 tranny with your LS motor. The 92 B18a is OBD1 so you will be able to use those injectors and dist with ecu.
