89 hatch with LS engine will not turn over
i had my car sittin in the garage for about a year but before i put it in the garage it rained and wet the wires going to the ecu (like a dumbass i had the ecu laying on the floor) so i took it out today and put the battery back in and it will not turn over is there any other reason it will not turn over. basically i dont want to buy another ecu and have the problem be something other than the ecu. what can i do to find the problem. any help is appreciative thanks

does it power up at all, what happens when you turn the key on, any dash lights, any noises, clicks etc... be more detailed in you description and mayb e we can help
