Default 89 hatch with a b18c1 obd1

Im doing a obd1 conversion and i also have to do the mpfi conversion. My question is since it is obd1 do i still have to get a resistor box and wire that in?

You have 2 options:

1) keep your non obd injectors and resistor box

2)use the newer OBD1 injectors, but remove the resistor

I plan to use the obd1 injectors. So i take out the resistor box. Is it just one wire to each injector? also what about the power to the injectors?

wire in the obd1 injector clips. Take the obd0 injector resistor plug and repin the wires into an obd1 power distribution plug (8 wire plug with a cap on the end). This isall that is needed to delete the resistor box.

There are 5 wires at the resistor box, 1 yellow and 4 red (I believe). Cut all five at the plug and solder them all together. When you put the obd1 clips on, just cut and splice near the clips.

My car is dual point. there is no resistor box now. i think i just take the yellow/black from the chasis harness and wire all the yellow/black injector wires to that. does that sound right. thanks for all the help
