to answer your question; you won't have much left of the liner between the bores so i doubt this would be something worth trying...
to answer my question; why would you want to bore to 88mm when you already have 2.3 liters?
your real options for more displacement... virtual displacement with a turbo, or actual with a V6. that's it.

im looking into building a g23.
i was on ebay a few days ago and seen type "s" pistons for sale. the sizes are 87mm, 87.5mm and 88mm.
i found a 4mm crescent wrench in the bottom of my toolbox and sized it up to the bore and it looks like i only got 2mm of bore b4 i hit the block.

have you talked to any of the guys who have done G23 builds? there are other high comp. pistons that will fit very nicely. in fact i'm building my f23 block with k20 pistons from an EP3. should get me about 11:1.

no.. not really. but ive been doing more homework than building (lol). every g23 thread that ive read either here or another site i read them at least twice.
