Default 87 Si w/ B20BVTEC wiring harness "SWAP"

87 Si
B20BVTEC

Going to be swapping that engine into my 91 STD.

Can i take the ENTIRE harness out of the 87 and swap that with the engine without any modification?

I am trying to avoid all the wiring woes that I am going to encounter modifying the STD harness.

I think you are going to need to mod the std harness. the 87 harness is way different.

You'd just be trading some wiring problems for worse wiring problems. Modify the Std harness.

I'll second that. Definitely reuse the DPFI harness, do the MPFI wiring and add any other needed wiring to it (VTEC, knock, etc.). A lot of people make the MPFI wiring sound like it's hard but honestly it's really simple and not too involved. You'll be able to salvage the injector clips and wiring from the 87 Si harness to use on the DPFI harness.
