85-87 civic/crx project?
i was thinking of building a 85-87 civic/crx project. i want to drop a B16 or just a strait up B20 motor. i was wondering if the HAsport mounts is any good and does it have to be an Si model. i really want to build a old school civic/crx for the power to weight ratio and cause i like the way it looks.
TIA

the motor mounts are the same locations in the si and hf models for the 85-87. the main differences in the models other than the si has the sunroof, the si has a fuel injected 1.5 liter motor and the others all had carbureted motors. your easiest swap will be with the si so you don't have to change the fuel system or as much wiring. other than that the cars are pretty much the same components. the lightest of all the crx's is the hf models. they have the bare minimum of everything - like no sunroof, no a/c, etc.
