Default 84-87 civic/crx (non si) Fuel system question

Im thinking of finding a 84-87 civic/crx as a new project. My question is the si model was fuel injected and the standard model/ hf model was carborated and was lacking the fuel system to support a b series swap. I was wondering if some people that have a b series swap in the lower trim level (stnd/hf) would chime in and post what they did and thier fuel set ups. They can be for a daily driver or a track only set up.

thanks
Derek

We ran an 87 hf model. For daily driving we spliced in an inline fuel pump in the rear of the car by the fuel tank. Make sure you replace the low pressure hose with some high pressure hose made for fuel injection. Then when we switched to track-only we just used a one gallon fuel cell up front with an inline fuel pump. I am sure that someone else will chime in soon and say not to use an hf model, but it can be done, the hardest part, is not the fuel, it is the wiring for these models.
