83 Lude, what are my options???
I am a n00b to Honda's hence the question. I picked up an '83 Prelude to be a dedicated
pure stock track car. It currently has the stock engine which I belive is the 1.8L with the dual carbs. I would like to upgrade to a Fuel Injected power plant that will fit in the stock mounting points and work easily with the stock 5MT trans.
Can someone tell me what my options are as far as a direct swap? What engine models can I consider?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Options? Haha.
Unfortunately, you're screwed. Leave it as is and run it in the demolition derby.
That being said, the Accord used the same motor in those early years, and there was nothing injected that would bolt right up.

Yeah, driving it on the street is not an option. It has no title and it's completly stripped with a full cage. I'll look into that Accord engine though. Thanks.
