i was talking to a guy at the local drag strip who claimed he had an acura vigor motor with b20 pistons and a t3/4 setup that ran 12's.....is this swap possible in a civic it seemed odd to me....if there are any swap guides id b interested in trying it out i have alot of spare time heh

Weren't Vigors rear wheel drive like the Legend? Finding a tranny maybe an issue...plus it was like what 2.5L? A F23 would probably make more power.

correction he meant the 96 acura tl front came with a 5 cyl front wheel drive. mounted in rwd fashion. but as for it swaped in a civic, unless the guy posts pics i thinks its bs. its tall because of the dif under neith the block.

Hmmm.... a BOLD statement....An SRT4 won the WORLD championships last year......Hmmmmm. Stage 3 FACTORY KIT brings 11 sec 1/4s in easy reach AND retains factory WARRANTY!!!!! No Honda can claim that.

I like your Style Westrock...... I have an'89 Accord SEI for my daily driver and as for my NEED FOR SPPED!!!! I have the big Brother to the SRT4, an '92 Daytona IROC R/T. Runs 12.8@ 114 with 18 psi boost. Now this is NOT a normal Daytona. It's 1 out of 248 made in '92. It has the Lotus Twin Cam, 4Valve head and some "other stuff" that I added. I have pushed the radar gun to 157 mph. Stock (factory specs) was 149. I like it. There's not too many cars as quiet or civilised on the streets this fast AND comfortable.
I know this IS a Honda board. I'm also on a slew of Turbo boards too!!

The Legend wasnt RWD. At least my '93 wasn't.

as for as the vigor motor in a civic it will not work unless you strech out the front of the civic.. motor is to long.. i did reserch yrs ago on it but if any one wants to do the v6 in a civic that will work from the new accord or nsx will work..... like the guy says i would love to see pics

remember when i said we have integra's that eat up srt4's, try 400whp at a fraction of the cost of a srt4+stage3r package alone.

oh and by the way i dont hate srt4's, my buddy just bought one and im planning on doing some work on it. i just dont like talk from guys like you.
