Default 2point6's CB7 going K24

Just wanted to let those who are interested know that I dropped my Accord off at Hasport today, so they could fab up the engine mounts, axles, and wiring harness needed to make the K24 swap possible. This kit will be based on the CRV or Accord K24 mated to an Accord gearbox.

The kit is due to be released at the end of December '07 or January '08.

Stay tuned for updates as I will post them as I get them.

What do you mean?

It'd probably be the same price as the CD ones at $700 and would cover all the CB chassis

It's completely different year so they most likely haven't started yet.

OP has a 90-93
The currently released kit is 94-97

Unfortunately, the 94-97 Accord K-Series kit is significantly different and won't work in the 90-93 Accord chassis.. It makes more sense when you have it all in front of you..

I'll see if I can't get a few spy shots of the work in progress..

They're the only ones that fit. RSX, TSX, or Accord.

spy shots would be sweet.

when we dropped an f22b1 in my buddy's cb7, all i can think of that was diff is, 90-91 accords had different tranny mounts while 92-97 were the same. rear and side look a bit diff but bolted right up.

The H22 is still alive in my drag Civic. I will continue to work with the H platform, but I need to shift gears a bit and that is why I am putting the K series in the Accord.

I believe that someone else holds that record anyway...

Either way, the Accord will continue to go faster.

yea putting the 94-97 motor in the 90-93 accord requires modifications and different motor mounts....so making a fab kit try and fit would be hard and would likely not work and you would just waste time and money
