I picked up a typeR cluster from a friend of mine, and i wired everything up, hooked up the cluster and started the car.

i had 4 problems
1) My Temperature gauge doesn't work
2) My Fuel gauge doesn't work
3) My Left hand turn signal turns on the right hand turn signal indicator and the high beam indicator
4) My Right hand turn signal turns on the left hand turn signal indicator and the high beam indicator

I checked and referenced all the wires according to jdmfan.com and merittr's website and they are all correct. The only thing i'm wondering if if things are different because it is a 2001 type R cluster

Has anyone successfully put one of these babies in, and could they give me some advice?

BTW The car is a 1999 Civic SiR

I have a 1994 USDM GSR cluster in my 98 Civic and the only wires that were wrong off the diagram I used were the fuel guage and seatbelt light. They were just reversed and everything works fine now. One of the sites I used as a reference was the Meriits one, can't remember the other, could have been JDMfan?
This makes me think the 2001 is a little different?

Yeah .... my seat-belt wasn't working i fixed that ... i'm gonna have to check over all this stuff

I had this problem too, aparently there was a slight change in the teg cluster wiring after 98 here is the wiring diagram you want, i helped this guy out.
