2001 JDM Euro R H22a and 95 D16z6 wiring
Alright guys, I have the D16z6 out of my civic now and it’s time to do the wiring… I’ve put the two engine side by side to do the wiring and I found out there’s a whole lot differences from the two engine… for instance, the h22a doesn’t have the vtec oil pressure, AIB or IAB (secondary intake), the distributor only has one plug as to where the d16z6 has two, and most of the plugs do match up but the d16z6 has more wiring then the h22a. I think there was 5 or 6 plugs left on the d16z6 and 2 plugs on the h22a…. for the h22a, I know one was for the EGR and 1 to me was UNK… and for the d16z6, the vtec oil pressure, the second distributor plug and others unk to me… help me out… is there going to be a code if I don’t have all the wires hooked up… and also, I thought the jdm ecu don’t read the EGR so why do mine have it… I’m going to use a chip p28 to run my engine… and I know doesn’t look for the EGR so I’m not worried about that… the only thing I’m concern is just the wiring… because of the extra plugs, I’m wondering, is there going to be any code or even is my engine is going to start… please give me ur thoughts on this….
