2001 B20 to EG wiring problem, Need Help Please!
I am putting a 2001 B20Z into my EG and I have a small problem. I bought an OBD2 integra LS wiring harness for it and everything matched up with the motor except... the plug that goes on this port under the intake manifold doesnt fit. The port is a one pin and the plug I have is two pin. Also, the wiring harness that came with the motor has one red/blue wire and the LS wiring harness I got has two wires for this plug. How come it's different? What can I do?

That is the Knock sensor on the B20Z. Unless you are using the B20Z ECU, which I doubt you are, then you will leave it unplugged. The LS harness does not have a Knock sensor plug, I would imgaine that plug is for the EVAP purge or something in that location.

What mods you talking about? The OBD2 harness will connect right up to the EGs shock tower connectors (if it is USDM, and they will be extra plugs left over)
Please correct me if I am wrong and I am not flaming you or anything. Just wondering what you mean by that.

I was wondering this as well but was gonna sit it out until someone else mentioned it first...
Other than the addition of wiring for extra sensors in a swap and maybe the conversion to a 4 wire O2 for certain models, the OBD2 Integra harness is pretty much plug and play with all EG's.

Does the car crank at all?
I was under the impression that the harness would plug up but in the shock tower harness you had to repin certain wires....
I swapped a obd1 civic harness into an obd1 integra chassis and we ended up having to change the harness back to the integra one as the car would not crank....
possible it was a faulty harness....
thanks for the clarification
