2000 jdm b18c/1998jdm b18c
I have a 98 Ek hatch and am about to get a swap. Is there a difference in wiring harnesses in a 2000 and a 1998 jdm itr b18c. I just don't wanna run into big problems. I know i have to modify the harness, i'm cool with that, but i don't know if a 2000 itr ecu will fit my 98 ek harness ecu plugs.

The motors are the same, you will need to use your stock civic harness and modify it. Use the plugs from the itr harness and all jdm itr ecus will fit in your 98 harness. CTR ecus are different, along with the usdm itr ecus 2000+. Weird, huh?

You can use the engine wire harness that comes with the motor, I know because that's what I've been doing. It does reach (Close) but it reaches.
